Dear Jesus,

Everyone around me seems to be talking about what they’ll be asking Santa to bring them for Christmas so I decided to write you a letter (even though, as you know, I talk to you every day.) Changing one letter in his name won’t make me fall for Satan’s dirty tricks. I know that your birthday is the real reason for Christmas.

A couple of weeks ago, I gave an interview to The Irish Sun in the build up to Like A Virgin, a documentary about sex and virginity airing on Network 2 on Thursday, November 7th. When the article came out yesterday, I gave it a read and, though I wasn’t overjoyed with it, I felt ok about it. Over the next couple hours, however, it begin to nag at me.

Not really blogging much at the moment with everything else that is going on ... so I'm posting beautiful poem by CS Lewis. He's a better writer than me anyway! This rocks my world and draws me back to a humble, mysterious faith.

One of the most common questions that I'm asked when I tell people about my faith and the choices I've made as a result is, 'What if you're wrong?' 'What if there is no God?'

I often struggle to answer people when they ask me what made me go into youth ministry even though the story isn't complicated or difficult for me …

I sometimes wonder if Heaven's walls are pitted with holes left by Jesus' head as he watches how we try to be his Body on Earth.
